This is an email that I sent out this week to Henensu, I thought I should share with you guys. Just a few notes :-) Ankh Udja Seneb! Due to the technical difficulties we encountered today during the beginning of the call, we were not able to record. This being the case I have decided to send this email with Notes of the major points covered today. I've included examples from other Traditions as Well. Importance of the Word The Ancient Kamityu held words at a very high esteem, so much so that the highest degree an Initiate could aspire to reach, and was the goal of each and every person, was to be declared Maa Kheru. The phrase Maa Kheru is translated "True of Voice," True of Word and Deed." The Term Maa, is translated as "truth" extends to mean Law, a decree, a standard by which a thing is measured. It is the Masculine counterpart to Maat. Taking these things into account, to be declared Maa Kheru, was to say that your Word or Voice is True/Truth, Your Word or Voice is Law, Ones Word/Voice is Deed. This is some of the deeper significance to the Weighing of the Heart and Words (Judgement Scene). The Weighing of the Ib (Heart) a symbol of the Will and Heru (the King) against the Feather of Maat, a symbol of Law and Truth, while the Initiate makes his "Declarations." If his Ib was found "equal" or Balanced with Maat he was declared Maa Kheru. From here the deceased/Initiate would unite with Ausar and would receive the Title Ausar attached to his, followed by the the descriptions Maa Kheru. To be declared Ausar, a God, was to also be declared Maa Kheru. This point we must delve into further. What is a God capable of? To Be a God, Neter is to be able to Create via the Word. By simply "speaking," making a Decree, a Neter causes what He/She Wills to come into being for A Neter's Word is Deed, Truth, LAW! Looking back at the Judgement Scene...let us look at it from another Angle...from the Perspective of Ausar. Ausar is seated on the Throne in the Duat. At the scales we find Tehuti, Anpu Shai, Renennut, Meshkhenet, and the Initiate. Above the Scales are the Paut Neteru. In spite of all that is happening in the scene, The Word plays the major role in the scene. Tehuti stands to the side and Anpu is at the Scales at the "Crossbeams." These two Neteru, Tehuti and Anpu, represent two different Phases of the Word. Tehuti is the Lord of Metu Neter ( Literally God/Divine Words), and is a representation of the Mind/Will of Neter. Anpu who is also known as Apuwat is said to be the Lips (Anpu) and Ears (Apuwat) of Ausar. Ausar sits upon the throne as the King or Chief of Amenta/Duat, over all of the "beings" that exist "in there." All Neteru and Shepsu exist in the Duat. From the throne he decree's to them their purpose and function there. Going back to the Weighing of the Heart, the Heart is a symbol of Heru as the King of the Earth, his sitting on the Throne of his Father is dependent on whether or not he has been United with is Father and is therefore Maa Kheru. Metu Neter The high regard that Ancient Kamit held for the word can be seen again clearly from the fact that they named their entire language Metu Neter. Metu Neter, though most people translate this to mean "Word of God," more appropiately it means "God Words" or "Divine Words" being that in this case The "Words" are the subject and is Plural (Met is word, Metu is Words), and Neter in this case is the Adjetive discribing the Word. The Adjective is usually written behind the subject, but terms that are considered Divine or Royal are written and spoken first. So in its proper Syntax, Metu Neter would be written and spoken "Neter Metu" meaning God Words or Divine Words. This is also the basis for the term Heiroglyphics meaning sacred writings. What is it about Words that made the Kamityu view their entire language as sacred? When you look all of the various creation stories in Kamitic Cosmology and elsewhere, in many cases, if not most, the Word is said to be the Creative Agency. We are all familiar with the so called Genesis creation account in which "God" speaks creation in to being.."let there be light" and the light appeared, or the Famous chapter of John 1 where the Word is Equated with the Divine, and the Word becoming "Flesh." These concepts are not as unique as we may think. To many of the Ancients it was understood that Sound was the basis of all life. It was understood that everything is in a constant state of motion and everything that moves makes a sound, something that Modern Science is just catching onto. The Fact that to Ancient Kamit Sound was the essence of everything can be seen clearly by the study of Metu Neter. If you notice the Glyph for Nu is , Which is a Wave, In which we all know that sound travels in waves, Though most people make the mistake of translating this symbol as Water. In actuality the Word in Metu Neter for Water is Mu. Nu represents not water as we think of, but the Primordial Waters of Chaos, the Undifferetiated Energy/Matter that preceded creation. This Chaos has no definition (catch the Word-Play please :-)) and is thus Infinite. Nu is the ALL. However the Neter Nu is referred to as the "The Watery One" and Nun "The Inert One" There is something very profound being expressed here scientifically. The creation begins with a state of Inertia, the first motion, the first Change in state (Khepera) gives rise to Ra. The Alphabet that makes Ra's name is , which is the Open mouth. We are all aware of the Association of Ra with the Sun, for the Yiten (Aten) is one of his symbols. This is not to say that Ra is the Sun, but it is speaking to Ra as what the Sun is a Source of, LIght. Yet Nu being the Source, the All, Ra rises out of the Substance of Nu and consist of Nu itself. This is speaking to relationship between Light and Sound, and the fact that they are in truth two polarities of the same reality. Everything that exist is simple variations of light and Sound...and light its self is simply the Length (definition) of a Sound Wave or Wave-length. They are the same reality. Nu is inert, Ra is Active, and Khepera is the transitional state between the Two. Atem or Atum (Tem, Temu) completes the circle and is a return to Nu. It is through the speaking of the Name of the various Neteru by Ra, that brings them into being. In a sense it could be said that Ra is a Big Mouth. Nu is The Sound, and Ra is The Mouth that gives expression to the Sound, Definition to the Sound, makes words, statements from the Sound. "I brought [into] my mouth my own my name, that is to say, hekau (a word of power), and I, even I, came into being in the form kheperu (of things which came into being) and I came in came into being... "~Book of Knowing the Evolutions of Ra and Overthrowing of Apep~ If Ra is the Creator, and It is, then we can say that It's words, these sounds are the Metu Neter! This is the major point that I want to drive home. The Kamitic Hekau/Words of Power are not lost!...LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN! :-) THE KAMITIC HEKAU ARE NOT LOST!!! The reason why the Entire Language, Metu Neter, is a language of Hekau. We can see this clearly from a passage from the Corpus Hermeticum in the "Sermon of Aesculapius (Imhotep) to the King Ammon, of the Words given to him by Hermes (Tehuti). Hermes, my master, in many a conversation, both when alone, and sometimes, too, when That was there, has said, that unto those who come across my books, their composition will seem most simple and [most] clear; but, on the contrary, as ’tis unclear, and has the [inner]meaning of its words concealed, it will be still unclearer, when, afterwards, the Greeks will want to turn our tongue into their own,—for this will be a very great distorting and obscuring of [even] what has been [already] written.Turned into our own native tongue, the sermon (logos) keepeth clear the meaning of the words (logoi) [at any rate]. For that its very quality of sound, the [very] power of the Egyptian names, have in themselves the bringing into act of what is said. As far as, then, thou canst, O King—(and thou canst [do] all things) —keep [this] our sermon from translation; in order that such mighty mysteries may not come to the Greeks, and the disdainful speech of Greece, with [all] its looseness, and its surface beauty, so to speak, take all the strength out of the solemn and the strong—the energetic speech of Names. The Greeks, O King, have novel words, energic of “argumentation” [only]; and thus is the philosophizing of the Greeks—the noise of words. But we do not use words; but we use sounds full-filled with deeds. *Note The term translated as Sermon in the above passage is Logos, which literally means To Say or Speech, and generally Word. This is the term that is translated in John 1:1 in the Biblical Text in the Beginning was the WORD (LOGOS). From the above passage we can extract much info in regards to how the Ancient Kamitic people defined and perceived their language in comparison with other languages, namely the Greek. It is obvious from the above that they saw the Metu Neter language as superior, but also different in nature from the language of the Greeks. For them the Greek language was simply empty noise and a language of confusion and argumentation, whereas the Metu Neter was a Language of "Names." Turned into our own native tongue, the sermon (logos) keepeth clear the meaning of the words (logoi) [at any rate]. For that its very quality of sound, the [very] power of the Egyptian names, have in themselves the bringing into act of what is said." This language was viewed as so sacred, so powerful that Imhotep literally begged the King not to translate their knowledge into the Greek Tongue. "O King—(and thou canst [do] all things) —keep [this] our sermon from translation; in order that such mighty mysteries may not come to the Greeks, and the disdainful speech of Greece, with [all] its looseness, and its surface beauty, so to speak, take all the strength out of the solemn and the strong—the energetic speech of Names. The Greeks, O King, have novel words, energic of “argumentation” [only]; and thus is the philosophizing of the Greeks—the noise of words. But we do not use words; but we use sounds full-filled with deeds." This Language, Metu Neter, was considered so powerful that by simply uttering the name of a thing in that language, brought that thing into being. The Language was not simply considered words simply to convey ideas, but were Sounds Filled with Deeds (Remember the meaning of Maa Kheru!) What's being conveyed here is That the Metu Neter is the Language of Creation, Life itself. It is that Ra spoke when bringing creation into being. To add weight to this point we should note that Tehuti is Known as "Neb Metu Neter" or Lord of Metu Neter, and was also called the Ib (Heart/Will) and Hu (Tongue) of Ra. We have spoken many times on the Equating Will of Neter with the Word of Neter (Ib and Hu), in this case it can be said that Tehuti is not only the Will of Ra, but also the Tongue that gives definition to the Words emanating from him. Also, being that Tehuti is Neb Metu Neter, as well as the Hu of Ra, then we can easily see from this and the cosmology of the Book of Knowing the Transformations of Ra... that the Languagae/Words that he is speaking is the Metu Neter, not just simply the Word of God, but God Words! This language of names, produces the thing to which the name belongs. Following this same scheme, we can clearly as Ra brought forth the Neteru through the Word (Many were the things which came forth from my mouth), that the Paut Neteru are, consist of, and stem from Metu Neter. The are God Words for the Words/Sounds are the Neteru themselves! Metu Neter is a language of Names. The word for Name in Metu Neter is Rn (pronounced Ren). The alphabets that make up the word Ren, Ra and Nu, . This Ren, represents the Sound as it proceeds out of the Open Mouth of Ra. Written properly as , the open mouth over the Wave of Nu, represents the Motion that caused the Sound of Ra bringing His own name into his Mouth, producing his Rising from Nu. This is not only to demonstrate that Ren and Neteru are variations of Nu and Ra as Sound and Light, but that Ren and Neteru are One and the Same, as well as Heka, Ren, and Neteru are One and the Same as Heka means to Activate, Elevate, or Raise the Ka, Just as Ra rose from Nu. "THE Egyptians, like most Oriental nations, attached very great importance to the knowledge of names, and the knowledge of how to use and to make mention of names which possessed magical powers was a necessity both for the living and the dead. It was believed that if a man knew the name of a god or a devil, and addressed him by it, he was bound to answer him and to do whatever he wished...all the "gods" of Egypt were merely personifications of the NAMES Of Râ, and that each god was one of his members, and that a name of a god was the god himself." ~ Egyptian Magic, E.A. Wallis Budge" Ancient Kamit, wasn't the only nation to this. In the Tantric traditon, the Mantras are made from the 50 Letters of the Sanskrit Alphabet. These 50 Letters are known as the Garland of Letters, and are symbolized by the 50 decapitated heads or skulls around the neck of the Devata Kali. These 50 Letters are said to be the "Matrikas" or Mothers out of which all things are produced. This language is a language of Mantra, in which each letter of a word just as the Metu Neter, carries the power of what goes into creating the thing that the Word is referring to, and if carefully constructed is a language of Names. In the Serpent Power Author Avalon has this to say on the Subject: The Natural name of anything is the sound which is produced by the action of of the moving forces which constitute it . He therefore, it is said, who mentally and vocally utters with creative force the natural name of anything, brings into being the thing which bears that name...Each man is Shiva and can attain His power to the degree of his ability to consciously realize himself as such. For various purposes the Devatas ("gods") are invoked. MANTRA AND DEVATA ARE ONE AND THE SAME (*emphasis mine). A Mantra-Devata is Shabda (Sound/WORD) and Artha (Form/image/light), the former being the name, and the latter the Devata whose name it is....The Whole World is Shabda and Artha, that is, Name and Form. Those two are inseparably associated. There is no Shabda without Artha or Artha without Shabda.... ~Arthur Avalon, The Serpent Power~ As we see can see from not only the passage from E.A. Wallis Budge, but also Author Avalon, the Name of a God is the God itself, and the Speaking of that Name causes the manifestation or Heka (rising) of the form of the God. This is the reason why the Metu Neter in written form is a language of Images for the sounds give rise to the images/forms, and the Two are a indivisible duality. Physics teaches us that everything is in a constant state of motion, and if it moves, it makes a sound. That sound that gives rise to the form of a thing is the "True Name" of it. "Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates. This Principle embodies the truth that "everything is in motion"; "everything vibrates"; "nothing is at rest"; facts which Modern Science endorses, and which each new scientific discovery tends to verify. And yet this Hermetic Principle was enunciated thousands of years ago, by the Masters of Ancient Egypt." ~The Kybalion.~ For the Sages of Ancient Kamit, the Name of the Neteru were the Neteru themselves, and were the Heka by which they were invoked/evoked. This is the reason why in every single Kamitic Text the importance of the Names of things are stressed. Knowing the name of a Being in the Duat gave the Initiate/Deceased, who is Associated with Ausar and is declared Maa Kheru dominion over that Being. This is also the reason why the Ren was placed in the Shenu or Cartouche, which serves as a talisman of protection for the Ka of a person or Ntr through protection of the Ren. In Kamit the destruction of the Ren was the destruction of the being/person to whom the Ren belonged. This is why the worst punishment that could be visited upon a king for example, was to erase their names from the records, and refusing them proper burial. No place to house the Ka, no Ren to invoke it. They held the view caused the person to cease to be. To Invoke Ausar, make Hesi (rhythmic chanting) of the name of Ausar. The same goes for any of the other Neteru. Now many of the Neteru had several names by which they were invoked, each name differing by the specific form of the Neter one was seeking to Invoke. While Hesi with Ausar for example, would invoke the General Form of Ausar, Ausar Dem Ur on the other hand, would invoke the Fierce form of Ausar, Ausar the Great Executioner. While making Hesi over the name Auset would invoke the general form of Auset, Auset Nejit would invoke the Fierce form of Auset. Also Epithets were used for invocations as well, such as Neb Abdu (Lord of Abdu or Abydos) for Ausar, or Nebt Tepihet for Het Heru in her form as the "beheader of the rebellious." We see parallels to this in other traditions such as the Yoruba tradition of Ifa, in which the names and Oriki's (praise names ) of the Orishas (Deities) are in the Yoruba Language, and are the Names by which the Orisha are invoked, and also consist in some cases of Epithets. In the book "Fundamentals of Yoruba Religion: Orisha Worship," The Author Chief Fama Aina Adewale Somadhi says this about Oriki: Religious Oriki...deals with Irunmolem Orisa, their devotees, and the few people who bear special names that Yoruba people believe to be "heavenly given names." Such special names are Aina, Ojo, Ibeji, Dada, Talabi, Salako, Oke, Ige, and others in that line. In addition to this religious Oriki serves as a power house that can be used for various purposes. The oriki can be used to incite the Orisa for action, positive or negative. To charge an Orisa, the part of the Oriki that talks of War, or Warlike actions, can be chanted in addition to other spiritual work. The Oriki can also be used to calm the Orisa if and when the Orisa is so charged. For instance, if Esu, Osanyin, or any other powerful Orisa in that line becomes too difficult to manage, subtle parts of their oriki can be chanted form calmness. Even though the Irunmole have long ago ascended to heaven, their individual attributes during their sojourn on earth are recorded in their respective orikis. One good purpose that the orikis of these Irunmole serve is that they give concise knowledge of the personalities of the Orisas and their way of life during their existence on earth. In a way, the Oriki says a lot about its subject/s, be it human beings or the Orisa. Examples of Oriki of the Orishas: Esu ota Orisa (Esu, Orisa's Avenger) Alagbara (The Powerful) *this is the name that has been corrupted into Elegba or Papa Legba. Alagbara is one of the Oriki/Heka for Esu, and not a separate Orisa. Esu Odara omokunrin Idolofin (Esu Odara, citizen of Idolofin town) From the above we see not only are the Orisha in the Yoruba tradition invoked through the Yoruba Language through special names that "house power" and represent different forms of Attributes of the Orisa, but also epithets such as the title of an Orisa in a specific location is also considered Oriki. This is something that the People of Ancient Kamit were known for, and in truth most African civilizations constructed their languages this way, basing them off the forces of Nature, and how they expressed themselves in their specific location. LANGUAGE OF THE BIRDS Theology of Time P-167 Did you not remember reading in the Bible, in Psalms, where David said that God has opened his ears to make him to hear, and his eyes to make him to see? These two factors of man David picked up on it, even to the knowledge of birds and their language [Holy Quran 34:10, 38:19]. He told me that He (Master Fard Muhammad) went into Africa, in the jungles, and learned the language of the birds. So, I thought about David and I smiled and said to myself, "When are you going to teach me the language of the birds? Why didn't he say the beast? Because, there is a finer characteristic about the bird than there is about the beast. The Revelator, he refers to this devil as a beast, due to his characteristics are similar to a wild beast. Well, I guess you say, "You're getting away from your subject." No, I'm teaching my subject. If you don't know the Messenger who brought you the message from God, how can you learn of the Sender? You've got to learn the Messenger and his message, which he has brought to you, all but forcing you to listen. To learn the Sender, God himself. ~Elijah Muhammad Theology of Time Lecture Series~ :-) The Language of the Birds represents a higher frequency of sound that carries musical tones and harmonies that carry us into higher states of mental and spiritual consciousness. Birds are nearly always used as icons or symbols on the shields and staffs of an army going into battle, and are also placed at the top of a totem representing the generic names of tribes and clans and families. ~Tynetta Muhammad Final Call Unveiling the Number 19 www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/article_855.shtml *Note Mother Tynetta Muhammad is the Second Wife of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, this gives her a certain degree of Weight and Intellectual Agency as to What Elijah meant by certain things. IMHO Various scriptures make reference to the "Language of the Birds, and this prophet or this King being granted the ability to speak this language. Many people take this on face value, but what exactly does it mean? According to this Wiki article, "In mythology, medieval literature and occultism, the language of the birds is postulated as a mystical, perfect divine language, green language, adamic language, enochian language, angelic language or a mythical or magical language used by birds to communicate with the initiated." It also states the following: Afro-Asiatic mythologies In Sufism, the language of birds is a mystical language of angels. The Conference of the Birds (mantiq at-tair) is a mystical poem of 4647 verses by the 12th century Persian poet Farid al-Din Attar In the Jerusalem Talmud (Louis Ginzberg, Legends of the Jews, 1909), Solomon's proverbial wisdom was due to his being granted understanding of the language of birds by God. In Egyptian Arabic, hieroglyphic writing is called "the alphabet of the birds". In Ancient Egyptian itself, the hieroglyphic form of writing was given the name medu-netjer ("words of the gods" or "divine language"). Supreme Wisdom Lessons of the Nation of Islam The Laborers must Speak and Use grammatic pronunciation of words and syllables in Past, Future, Present and Perfect Tense. the Laborer's answers to All Lessons must be in the above Language. Others will not be considered. Note: The Dumb must speak Plainly. the Stammering Tongue is Speaking Clear. (He covers the Prophecies of the Bible and, also, the Holy Qur'an in a word). NO man can be Successful in Teaching a People that cannot speak, Clearly, the People's Language. But there is more to be understood in the words. That the Laborers' Pronunciation of words and syllables must be in the Past, Future and Present Perfect Tense - Otherwise will not be considered. After learning Mathematics, which is Islam, and Islam is Mathematics, it stands true. You can always prove it at no limit of time. Then you must learn to use it and secure some benefit while you are living, that is - luxury, money, good homes, friendship in all walks of life. Sit yourself in Heaven at once! That is the greatest Desire of your Brother and Teachers. Now you must speak the Language so you can use your Mathematical Theology in the proper Term-otherwise you will not be successful unless you do speak well, for she knows all about you. The Secretary of Islam offers a reward to the best and neatest worker of this Problem. There are twenty-six letters in the Language and if a Student learns one letter per day, then how long will it take him to learn the twenty-six letters? there are ten numbers in the Mathematical Language. Then how long will it take a Student to learn the whole ten numbers (at the above rate)? The average man speaks four hundred words - considered well. 11. Have you not learned that your word shall be Bond regardless of whom or what? Answer: Yes. My word is Bond and Bond is life, and I will give my life before my word shall fail. ***Ideas*** Might the Mathematical Theology of 10 Numbers be realated to the Ten Spheres of the Tree of Life?...and the 26 Letters the sounds, the Mantras through which the Forces/Intelligences of those spheres are invoked? There are some similarities between some of the Numerlogical correspondences of the NOI with the Tree. For example, in the NOI 1 is The Most High, 2 is The Messenger, and 3 is Trial, whereas in the Tree, 1 is called Kether Which means "The Crown," 2 is called Chokmah which means Wisdom, and 3 is called Binah which is Understanding, and corresponds to the Planet Saturn which is the Planet of Hardships and Trials, Destiny, and the Karmic Lessons one comes here to learn. Could the Secretary of Islam be related to the Gate Keeper, Crossroads, and Opener of The Way Deities of most African Traditional Religions? Could My Word is Bond/Life be related to or the same as being Maa Kheru? Or the 12 Major and 12 Minor Scientist be related to the Paut Neteru or Pantheon of Deities found in Most Ancient Traditions? Could these 24 Scientist Who write Koran or History (Chron-ology/TIME) in advance be related to the Planetary Hours and the Forces that govern, move, and influence events throughout the day (these are the same as the Paut Neteru, Company of Gods. EACH governs a Planet, a Zodiac Sign, and every hour of day! Could the Asiatic be a code or punning together of Assiah (Physical/Earth) and Atziluth (Consciousness/Will or Mental), The lowest and Highest Worlds of Kabbalah, and the Asiatic Black Man who is God/Allah and God of the Universe be the same as Adam Qadman the Universal Man encompassing both extremes of Reality and is thus Lord of All the Worlds?...as the Gods and Earths say Asia is the Body and Attic is the Mind. Just Ideas :-) That is all for now (one day I will devote some serious work to the Subject of the Lessons in its entirety!) Examples from the Quran Sura 27:15-17 "And certainly We gave knowledge to David and Solomon, and they both said: Praise be to Allah, Who has made us to excel many of His believing servants. And Solomon was David's heir, and he said: O men! We have been taught the language of the birds, and we have been given all things; most surely this is manifest grace. And his hosts of Jinn and the Men and the birds were gathered to him, and they formed into groups...." http://www.studiesincomparativereligion.com/uploads/articlepdfs/91.pdf And God’s alone are the attributes of perfection; invoke Him, then, by these, and stand aloof from all who distort the meaning of His attributes. Al A’Raf 7:180, tr. Asad Allah is He, other than Whom there is no other god; Who knows both what is hidden and what can be witnessed; He is the Most Compassionate and Merciful. Allah is He, other than Whom there is no other god; the Sovereign, the One, the Source of Peace, the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Security, the Exalted, the Compelling, the Supreme. Glory be to God, beyond any associations. He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Form. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: Whatever exists in heaven and earth declares His Praise and Glory. And He is Exalted in Power, the Wise. Al Hashr 59:22, tr. Helminski And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful." They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise." He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed." And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers. ~Surah 2 "The Cow Abu Huraira reported Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: There are ninety-nine names of Allaah; he who commits them to memory would get into Paradise. Verily, Allaah is Odd (He is one, and it is an odd number) and He loves odd number. And in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are):" He who enumerated them." SAHIH MUSLIM Hadith CHAPTER: THE NAMES OF ALLAAH, THE EXALTED, AND THE MERIT OF ONE WHO ENUMERATES THEM On my trip to Tortola back in February of this year I was asked to come to Mellow Moods restaurant which is owned by my dear brother Ausar Ab Kai, to sit and have a discussion with a Muslim brother that wanted to meet me. This brother had heard about my interview on JTV the previous evening and some of the ideas I conveyed about the Creator and my book The Key to Eden. The brother had intentions to "set me straight" :-). Without going into details about the discussion, one of the interesting things that I heard the brother say was that we call on the names of Allah for different purposes depending on the need..sometimes for health, sometimes for protection etc. This I already knew from my studies, however this was the first time that I had actually heard a Muslim admit it! According to David Allen Hulse in his book The Key of It All: Book One These descriptions of God are derived from the holy verses of the Quran. Each of the 99 appellations represents a power of God which can be contacted by repeatedly chanting the name with a purified heart and mind. One or more of these God names can be engraved on an amulet to talismanically tap into the powers of the various names. For Example: AL Rahim meaning The Beneficent, carries the power of memory and awareness. Al Malik, meaning The King carries the power of Respect. Al Kalik, meaning The Creator, carries the power to Create Guardian Angel *(Benu Note, Interesting! could this be similar to Khunum The Creator/Potter who fashions the Ka on his potters Wheel?..and the Shabti, or the Golem of Jewish Kabbalah? or the Nkanga/Nkisi of Palo? Just random thoughts :-)) Examples from Judaism Exodus 14:19-21 and the 72 Names of God (Shemhamphoresch) וַיִּסַּע מַלְאַךְ הָאֱלֹהִים הַהֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵי מַחֲנֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֵּלֶךְ מֵאַחֲרֵיהֶם וַיִּסַּע עַמּוּד הֶעָנָן מִפְּנֵיהֶם וַיַּעֲמֹד מֵאַחֲרֵיהֶם׃ And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: וַיָּבֹא בֵּין ׀ מַחֲנֵה מִצְרַיִם וּבֵין מַחֲנֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיְהִי הֶעָנָן וְהַחֹשֶׁךְ וַיָּאֶר אֶת־הַלָּיְלָה וְלֹא־קָרַב זֶה אֶל־זֶה כָּל־הַלָּיְלָה׃ And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness [to them], but it gave light by night [to these]: so that the one came not near the other all the night. וַיֵּט מֹשֶׁה אֶת־יָדֹו עַל־הַיָּם וַיֹּולֶךְ יְהוָה ׀ אֶת־הַיָּם בְּרוּחַ קָדִים עַזָּה כָּל־הַלַּיְלָה וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת־הַיָּם לֶחָרָבָה וַיִּבָּקְעוּ הַמָּיִם׃ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided. These above scriptures from Exodus have encoded within what is referred to as the 72 names of God. "The name itself is derived from Exodus 14:19-21, three verses each composed of 72 letters; by writing these out in boustrophedon form so that the second line is reversed, and grouping the letters in columns of threes (see table below), the names of 72 angels or intelligences or 72 Names of God are formed." Each name is formed by adding each combination of Three to the Suffix of either El or Yah, creating the Name/Mantra/Heka by which the Angel or particular expression of God is Invoked/Evoked. YHVH or Tetragrammaton is considered the "Ineffable" name of God, and is considered forbidden in Judaism to say. It is said to only be lawful to say once one's ears and tongue has been purified by Wisdom (Philo). It is also said that he who is able to pronounces it has the Keys to the Universe. CHRISTIANITY New Testament Acts 2:21 "And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." There's no name under the heavens by which man can be saved except by the name of Jesus!!! :-) (Interesting the Name Yashua means The Lord is Savior). Back to Our previously scheduled Subject :-) The Jet (Person) As I touched on at the end of the call on Sunday the word Person is concise for our purposes. Per-Sona (Literally Through Sound), being a medium through which Sound passes, gives insight into the Nature of Our Being. The Jes (Self) and The Jet (Person) aspects of One Being, varying simply in the levels of Density versus Subtlety. The Jes is Consciousness, and the Jet is the Medium, the Sphere of Awareness. Please review the Who is God, Who is Man:The Anatomy of Being series. We are not saying that Self and Person are separate or that the Person is Not-Self, or Not you. Remember there is only ONE BEING period. Prior to the bringing of Order to the Chaos, Nu/Nun was an Undifferentiated Energy/Matter, Yet was Pure Consciousness. We know this from the the symbolism and teachings related to Ausar and Ausares as the Paut n Paut or the Primordial Matter of Primordial Matter. Ausar's name based upon the symbolism means something like "Seat or Place of Consciousness) As (Seat or Place), Ir (Eye). This also seen in the Tantric Teachings about Prana Vauyu, which is said to be Kundalini in its most Subtle/ Yet Powerful state, and Yet it is PURE CONSCIOUSNESS (Layayoga pg 37). Understanding this we are saying that the Self or Consciousness is not non energy/ non matter, but Energy/Matter in its purest, most subtle and undifferentiated state. The first motion, Ra's Rising out of Nu and Uttering His Own Name (Ausares) brought the First differentiation and Duality, instantly The Ikeru (Shu and Tefenut) representing Duality. This Duality creates Ra's Sphere of Awareness, gives Consciousness the ability to be "conscious of .".This is the reason why Ra says in The Book of knowing the Evolutions of Ra and of Overthrowing Apep that "My Eye" followed behind them (Shu and Tefnut). This rising from Nu, the first concentration within the All is analogous to the Ice Cap and the Sea. Its all water, but the Ice Cap is simply a Concentrated/Solidified Portion of the Sea. This Concentrated Portion, the first differentiation, creates Definition within the Infinite. This is symbolized by the Benben, as Well as the Yitin (Aten), In which the dot in the center of the Circle (Pi in mathematics as well as the Ankh and Various Power Symbols found on electronic ) represents the not only the first concentration/differentiation, Duality (Ra's Rising), but also his Sphere of Awareness and "Reference Point." This Yitin is also symbolic of Ra's Eye (It is always above his head with the Netert Arat/Het-Heru, actually resembles a big Eye.). "Praise Be to thee Ra, Exalted Shekhem. Looker on the Earth and Brightener of Amenti. Thou art He whose forms are his own creations. Ra Yiteni and Thou makest thy creations in The Great Disk (Yitin Owa/ Aten Aa) (Book of Praying to the Unified One in The West aka Litany to Ra)" All creation takes place within this Sphere, this Yitin, within Ra's Eye, which is Also Het-Heru/Shekhemet) who is the Khet n Ankh of Tree of Life herself and Mut Neteru (Mother of the Neteru). The Outer Circle represents the All, Nu, and the Inner Circle, the Dot represents the Where Creation actually takes place within the All, Yet All is One just varying in levels Density (This is actually what the Tree of Life represents the Descent from the Most Subtle to the Grossest or Densest.) Het Heru as Tree of Life What am I getting at here? Let's look back at the Judgement Scene, The Weighing of the Heart and the Words. Ausar Sits upon the Throne, Tehuti stands to the Side making his Observations and Anpu stands at the "crossbeams of the scale" This Cross Beam of the Scale Represents the Crossroads, and Anpu as Apuwat (The Opener of The Way) stands as hear as the guardian. The Horizontal Axis of the Scale represents the Earthly Plane, and the Vertical Axis represents the Heavenly Plane and where the intersection where they meet in the middle is where Anpu resides. The Dual, at least for our purposes, we shall say represent the Dual aspects of Being. As if you are Maa Kheru, if you are a God, then your Word is Truth, Your Word is Maat, it is Law, Your Word is Deed! Your Word will always balance out or equal the feather, and by projecting the Word into your Person, you can bring into being what you Will. This scene on another hand represents a Science Experiment. You have a very controlled environment here. We must begin to treat and view our persons, at least at the offset of initiation, as an Instrument, a Computer. Heka means to Activate/Elavate the Ka. When you strike a Key on the Piano, lets say E flat, you don't expect F Sharp to come out. If F sharp comes out you need to tune the Piano. The same goes with a Computer. You program a computer so that when you strike certain Keys to give the computer a command, the Program and Computer should then proceed to carry out its objective automatically. In fact once the Computer is programmed, in some instances it Will even carry out the commands of the Program without you striking the keys, maybe even as soon as The Computer is Powered up. This is the Way our Jet is supposed to Function. In the lecture Sunday I gave the analogy of a Flute, or a Clarinet. As a musician blows into the Flute or Clarinet, they strike certain, which cause specific sounds to emanate from that Instrument. As we speak there are all kinds of waves, and frequencies passing through us, emanating from us. I plugged in my computer speaker to in the Electric Socket, and then I grabbed the jack on the metal tip (the that plugs into the computer) and as soon as I grabbed it some Channel or station began to play through the speaker! I know you guys have done that before! What is the speaker picking up on? This is how a radio works, a television, a telephone, Wifi, etc. Its all waves and frequencies. When you change the station or channel on the Tv or Radio it takes you to the channel. You see and hear clearly as long as the reception is clear, as long as its able to pick on those waves. When we meditate, like that at Flute or Clarinet, We Breathe into and out of our Instrument (Jet) Consciously, as we strike certain keys through Hesi and make Heka, it causes us to tune into specific channels, specific stations, varying based upon the Heka that is being projected. If I make Hesi with the Name Ausar, or Tehuti, as long as breathing into my instrument following the exact science of Meditation, I should be able to tune into that channel. The Hesi will cause Heka, just as it was Ra's Name that caused him to Rise out of Nu, out of Inertia, and come into being. Hesi along with the Breath will cause that specific Name, that particular force to come alive, and rise within our Persons, emanate from our persons. Its a Science, and it should work like Mathematics, its a LAW. If you make Hesi with Tehuti, you tune into the specific Channel Within your Being, You can ask Tehuti in meditation. You are creating controlled conditions, a controlled environment through your Hesi and Breathing, just like that instrument, Tehuti should come alive, that's the Channel/Station you're playing. "He" will arise and Answer out of and through your Thoughts (Verbal and Visual), your emotions, body sensations, etc, You just have to simply be your Self, be Aware, keep the channel playing. You may even notice the Heka or the Neteru manifest itself in the "World Outside." As you become Maa Kheru, you come to the realization that there is no "world outside," for All happens within, and your perspective on your Jet changes, it expands, or even more precise it is corrected. Once you realize You are The One Being, then your understanding of your Person includes the so called World Outside, it includes the universe. Its all happening within your Being. From here you come to the Understanding that all The Member's of Ausar, All are Ra's forms or Limbs, and exercising influence will through Heka, will be as easy as moving one of your limbs, as simple as uttering your own name :-). Ausar and Ra make their decrees from the Throne! Hetep.
